Multiplication
Bay filly by Marju out of Lunda.

Marju Hello! I was born on 24 Feburary 2006. My mother (dam) is called Lunda and my father (sire) is called Marju. He lives in Ireland. I have eight older brothers and sisters. One of my brothers has been racing this year, he is called Blue Monday. One day I hope to race like him. I'll show him that fillies are better than colts!

Horses Here I am in July, we live in a field with some of the other mares and their foals. I am the one on the right in the photo!

Aston Upthorpe Stud

On 5 September, I was moved to a new home in Oxfordshire called Aston Upthorpe Stud. Here is a picture:

I went to the yearling sales at Tattersalls in Newmarket in October 2007 and was bought for 110,000 guineas (a guinea is the old-fashioned currency still used at most horse sales in the UK, it is equal to £1.05, so my sales price was £115,500).

After the sale I went to the yard of a very good trainer called Roger Charlton, who trained the 1990 Derby winner Quest For Fame. I now live in Wiltshire and I raced three times as a two-year-old.

I turned three in January 2009 and on 9 May, I won my very first race! The racecourse I won at was Warwick, which isn't too far from home and I have to say it wasn't too hard at all - in fact I finished seven whole lengths in front of the horse who came second. Now I'm looking forward to my next race where hopefully I can win again!
