Foal diary

I was born at Rutland Stud near Newmarket on 25th April 2010. My Mum is Zomaradah who is a very special mare as not only was she an excellent racehorse, she is also Mum to another very special horse - Dubawi, who is my half brother. Dubawi is now a Darley stallion and his first children are doing very well indeed at the races.

My Dad is New Approach, who won the Derby, the Champion Stakes and the Irish Champion Stakes for Princess Haya in 2008. I am one of his first foals.

At the end of the summer, it was time for me to leave my Mum and learn to make friends with other horses my own age. I moved to a new home – White Lodge Stud – in November and have been having a great time running around the paddock and growing big and strong.

On 1 January 2011, I officially turned one and am now classed as a yearling. I have been named Princess of Jordan.
