Darley press release

Dalham Hall Stud open days on 6 and 7 February

Dalham Hall Stud will be opening its doors on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th February, providing breeders with the opportunity to view all 13 resident stallions.

New to the roster at Dalham Hall this year are Cartier Award winner and top-rated European Three-Year-Old Authorized; and the impeccably-bred multiple Group winner Echo Of Light (pictured), who becomes the second son of Dubai Millennium to retire to Darley.

Also standing at Dalham for the first time are Byron and Shamardal, both of whom have relocated from Darley’s Kildangan Stud in Ireland for the 2008 season. Byron, a multiple G2 winner, is a son of sire of sires Green Desert and boasts an incredible family that includes 13 sires of G1 winners under his first three dams. He is standing at a fee of £4,000 October 1st Special live foal, whilst dual Champion Shamardal stands at £25,000, also October 1st terms.

About to embark on his third season at stud is Doyen, who will also be available to view along with two promising young sires in Dubai Destination and Exceed And Excel. Completing the line up are Halling, Librettist, Red Ransom, Shirocco, Singspiel and Tobougg.

The stallions will be shown at 11am, 1pm and 3pm each day and refreshments will be served at the stud. If you would like to arrange a visit for next week, please contact the Darley Nominations team on +44 1638 730070.
