Doors open at Dalham Hall

All eight stallions will be available to view on February 2

To coincide with Tattersalls February sale, Dalham Hall Stud will be holding an open day on February 2, when all eight stallions will be available to be viewed between 11.30am and 3pm.

Heading the roster will be Dubawi, who will this season be standing alongside his son, the new recruit Poet’s Voice (pictured), who is set to cover a full book of mares in 2012. They are joined by New Approach, whose first yearlings were so well received last year, and are already in the hands of the best trainers in Europe. We are confident that the serious promise shown by Authorized’s two-year-olds will be fulfilled as they come of age in 2012.

Shirocco had a fine season in Europe with his first three-year-olds last year, with only Galileo having more rated in the World Thoroughbred Rankings, while Kheleyf remains at Dalham Hall Stud for a second season after another very successful year, when he sired 30 individual two-year-old winners.

Also showing will be Exceed And Excel, who enjoyed a tremendous 2011 with G1 winners Excelebration and Margot Did in Europe and Helmet, a three-time G1-winner in his native Australia. Completing the roster is Halling, a perennial favourite who has earned a great reputation for producing top class racehorses.
