Happy Archer strikes at Greyville

Daughter of Dubawi lands her third Group success

Happy Archer, an Australian-bred daughter of Dubawi, landed her third career Group victory when successful in the G2 Gold Bracelet over ten-furlongs at Greyville in South Africa.

A G1-winning juvenile in the Durban Thekwini Stakes, she doubled her G1-tally as a three-year-old when taking the Garden Province Stakes, both of which are also run at Greyville. With this victory in the Gold Bracelet she has now recorded seven victories in her illustrious career.

Bred in Australia by Racetree, Happy Archer is out of the Jeune mare So Tempted who is also responsible for Stakes-winning filly Femina Fashion (Shamardal).

Happy Archer is one of 26 Group-winners and eight G1-winners sired by Dubawi, including this years Dubai World Cup hero Monterosso, Classic winners Makfi and Waldpark, multi-million pound earner Lucky Nine, and Queen Elizabeth II Stakes victor and young Darley stallion, Poet's Voice.
