Iffraaj's Chriselliam lands the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf

Filly takes her second G1 in record time

Two-year-old Iffraaj filly Chriselliam made quite an impression on the international stage on 1 November with a record-breaking victory in the G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. It was the second G1 win in a row for the talented filly, who took Newmarket's G1 Fillies' Mile in September.

Travelling smoothly in behind horses early on, the filly made her move entering the home straight. Finding a gap between runners, she accelerated down the lane to draw away a clear winner.

Chriselliam is out of the Danehill mare Danielli, who is a half-sister to G1 winner Eva's Request. She was bred by Ballylinch Stud.

Chriselliam is the second Breeders' Cup winner on the day for a Darley sire, as Exceed And Excel's Outstrip dominated the G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf just hours before.

Chriselliam is one of three G1 winners for Iffraaj, whose top performers also include G1 Moyglare Stud Stakes and G2 Queen Mary Stakes winner Rizeena and fellow juvenile G1 winner  Wootton Bassett. Iffraaj is also sire of recent G3 winner Dibajj and talented juvenile G3 winner Hot Streak, one of Europe's highest rated two-year-olds.

His fee for 2014 is €25,000 October 1st Special live foal.
