Peace Society a new Stakes winner for Iffraaj

Two-year-old filly lands the Listed Kronimus-Rennen at Baden-Baden

Iffraaj recorded a new juvenile Stakes winner on 3 September , when his daughter Peace Society put up an incredibly gutsy performance on only her second start to land the Listed Kronimus-Rennen, run over six furlongs at Baden-Baden.

Settled behind the early leaders, Andreas Wöhler’s charge looked to have plenty to do as the field began to quicken for home but battling superbly, she refused to be beaten and taking the lead close to home, kept to her task in brilliant fashion to win by half a length.

Bred by Dr Christoph Berglar, Peace Society is the first winner out of the multiple Group winner Peace Royale.

Iffraaj has been enjoying another successful season, with previous G1 winner Rizeena adding to her tally of victories at the highest level earlier this year when landing the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot. He is also sire of another 2014 G1 winner in Benvenue, plus G1-placed runners Hot Streak (also winner of the G2 Temple Stakes and entered in this Saturday’s G1 Sprint Cup) and Franzac.
