Shamardal filly prevails in Morphettville Guineas

Shamardal's daughter Maybe Discreet scores easily in the Listed Morphettville Guineas.

Shamardal’s progressive three-year-old daughter Maybe Discreet became the 42nd individual Stakes winner for the sire with her comprehensive win in the Listed Morphettville Guineas (1600m) in Adelaide.

Maybe Discreet won at Morphettville as a juvenile before showing terrific natural progression to claim her first Stakes success by a comfortable 2-3/4 lengths.

The Phillip Stokes-trained filly raced behind the speed before showing an impressive turn of foot to post her second win from four starts.

Bred by Mr D Peacock, Oh So Discreet is from the same family as six Stakes winners including the G3 performers Be Discreet, Gilded Angel and She’s Discreet.

Shamardal resides at Darley’s Kildangan Stud in Ireland.
