Tarfasha shows her class at the Curragh

Daughter of Teofilo impressively wins the G2 Blandford Stakes

Tarfasha, a three-year-old daughter of Teofilo, won her second Group race of the season when impressively landing the G2 Blandford Stakes over ten furlongs at the Curragh. After winning the G3 Blue Wind Stakes back in May, she was an excellent second in the Oaks at Epsom and coming back from a short break, the victory was never in doubt, running out the easy one-and-three-quarter length victor.

Bred by Rockfield Farm and sold as a yearling for €200,000, Tarfasha is a half-sister to four Stakes performers including Champion stayer Saddler's Rock and three-time Classic-placed Galileo Rock. Out of the Groom Dancer mare Grecian Bride, she is also from a top-class family that features G1-winners Gamut, Tannery, Sought Out, Derby winner North Light and 2,000 Guineas winner Golan.

Teofilo is the sire of six G1 winners including Classic winners Trading Leather and Voleuse de Coeurs and G1 winning juveniles Parish Hall and Loch Garman.
