Ten Group winners for Iffraaj

Iffraaj, who enjoyed such an outstanding season in 2013 courtesy of his G1-winning daughters Chriselliam and Rizeena, opened his Group winner’s account for the new year in style when his son Forjatt ran out the convincing winner of the G3 Jebel Ali Mile.

Held up on outside under James Doyle, Forjatt came wide into straight and taking up the running a furlong and a half out, ran on impressively to win by a length and a half.

Bred by Michael Downey and Roalso Limited, Forjatt is one of three winners out of Graceful Air (Danzero) and is from the family of Mill Reef winner and G1 performer Indian Rocket.

Iffraaj is already sire of a G1 horse in 2014, following Franzac’s brave second in the Levin Classic in New Zealand last weekend. He stands at Kildangan Stud at a fee of €25,000 October 1st Special Live Foal.
