Wallrock Fibreliner offers two surface finishes. The outer surface of the roll offers an improved finish for either painting or over hanging with wallpaper. Please note Wallrock Fibreliner can also be hung horizontally, especially useful if you intend to overhang with a decorative wallpaper.

Can you paper over Wallrock?
We do not recommend applying traditional lining paper (or wallpaper) over thermal liner, because lining paper expands when wet and shrinks when drying up (paper based products are dimensionally unstable), which can cause the corners of Wallrock Thermal Liner to be pulled off.

How do you hang Wallrock lining paper?
Applying the Wallrock
- Mark out straight lines on the wall using the plumb line to make sure your Wallrock is applied vertically.
- Apply Liner adhesive to the wall or ceiling generously.
- Apply the thermal liner with fluffy side down.
- Cut excess paper with scissors or knife.
Can you paint over insulating wallpaper?
Let the walls dry for a day naturally. That means no heating systems, except if the room is especially cold. Now you can paint over the top or hang standard wallpaper to cover the Wallrock*. Ensure any small gaps are filled with flexible, non-shrinking filler.
