Almost all summer classes will be delivered entirely online, synchronously or asynchronously. Check the Timetable to find your course delivery method. Students who cannot attend courses in-person should not choose courses with in-person elements.
How many courses can I take in the summer Utsc?
Number of Courses Taken (“Course Load”) Special consideration will not be granted on the basis of enrolment in more than the recommended maximum. The maximum course load for students who are in good standing during the Summer Session is 1.0 credit per term.
Is Utsc a person?
At UTSC, we are planning a phased approach to restarting on-campus academic activities. We will be offering a mixture of in-person and online courses in the Fall term, and we expect a full return to primarily in-person learning in the Winter term.
Will Utsc be in person fall 2021?
Yes. The majority of our classes require in-person participation, and so students need to plan to be here in Toronto. Information on course delivery is available in the Fall/Winter 2021-22 Timetable.
Is Utsc open for study?
Whether you are new to UTSC or returning to campus this Fall, we are excited to welcome you. The campus continues to be open to enable access to computers and study space.
What happens if you fail a course Utsc?
If you failed a course then you can retake it for credit. The failed grade will not be removed or averaged; rather both the failed grade and the new grade are calculated into the GPA and included on your academic transcript.
