Is Aspen Plus useful?

One of the best advantages is that Aspen Plus has already an existing data base of of species and their pure/binary regressed parameters. It can also handle very complex processes, such as: Multiple-column separation systems. Complex Recycle – Bypass Stream in Processes.

How accurate is Aspen Plus?

ASPEN Plus provides predictive accuracy within 1.5 times standard deviation of measured concentration values for medium-temperature (100 œ 150ºC) vapor/liquid equilibrium for critical non-radioactive species.
