There isn’t any difference in functionality between the two, the only difference is port count. WIC-1T can only do sync serial at a maximum of 2Mbps. The WIC-2T can do 8Mbps on each port concurrently if you plug it into a suitable router. WIC-1T can only do sync serial at a maximum of 2Mbps.
